About Us
At Brooklyn’s Bridge Therapy, we understand that beginning or continuing therapy is a deeply personal step. Whether you are walking into your very first session or returning for your hundredth, you deserve a space where you feel welcomed, understood, and supported. Our practice is built on the belief that therapy should be a place of trust, openness, and encouragement—somewhere you can safely bring both your struggles and your hopes for change.
Who are we?

Hi there! I’m Tamara — a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), and I’m so excited to support you on your journey!
Born and raised in Toronto, I’ve also spent time living in different parts of the GTA and Ottawa. I’ve always been passionate about helping others, especially when it comes to mental health and overall well-being. I truly believe that taking care of your mental health is one of the most important things you can do for yourself — and I’m here to make that process feel approachable, supportive, and even empowering.
When I’m not working, you can usually find me hanging out with my dog, Brooklyn, staying active, or indulging in my guilty pleasure — reality TV. Lately, I’ve also been trying to improve my cooking skills (emphasis on trying!).
Whether this is your first time starting therapy or you’re continuing your mental health journey, my goal is to provide a safe, open, and judgment-free space where you can share your story, explore your goals, and build the tools to face life’s challenges with confidence.
Brooklyn
Typical of her breed, people often assume she’s intimidating or mean because she’s a Doberman. But the truth couldn’t be further from that. Brooklyn is the gentlest soul — shy, sensitive, and easily startled by all kinds of things. Yet, despite her own fears, her instinct to protect me always comes first. She’s brave in her own quiet way, and her loyalty runs deep — exactly how I would be for her.
She absolutely loves running in wide open fields, chasing after soccer balls, tennis balls, and sticks — anything that keeps her moving. If she could, she’d spend all day at the park, soaking in the sun and the freedom. For anyone who has a support animal, you know that special kind of bond, the one built on unconditional love, trust, and understanding. Brooklyn embodies all of that and more.
Our approach is guided by compassion,
respect, and collaboration
We see therapy as a partnership, where your voice and experiences lead the way. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all answers, we work with you to uncover your unique strengths, explore new perspectives, and build strategies that truly fit your life.
Grounded in research-informed methods and a genuine commitment to care, we help you navigate challenges while also fostering resilience, confidence, and personal growth. Every session is an opportunity to reconnect with yourself, gain clarity, and take meaningful steps forward.
No matter where you are in your journey—just starting out or deepening the work you’ve already begun—Brooklyn’s Bridge Therapy is here to walk beside you, offering steady support as you create the change you seek.
